Important Educational Disclaimer: ADRE Exam Prep is an independent educational preparatory application and website developed to help students prepare for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examinations (Grade III & Grade IV). This service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by the Government of Assam, the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC), or any government department. All official government recruitment notifications and admit cards must be accessed through official Assam Government portals (assam.gov.in / sebaonline.org).
1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the ADRE Exam Prep Platform ("we", "us", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our Android mobile application and website (https://adreprep.in). We take your privacy seriously and adhere to applicable data protection standards including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Google Play Developer Program Policies.

2. Information We Collect

To provide personalized exam simulations, progress tracking, and analytics, we collect:

  • Account Details: Full name, email address, optional contact phone number, and chosen category (ADRE Grade III or Grade IV).
  • Authentication Credentials: Securely salted and hashed passwords (plain passwords are never stored or accessible by staff).
  • Exam Performance & Progress: Test attempt history, selected answers, score records, accuracy metrics, bookmarked questions, and error notebook items.
  • Device & Diagnostic Information: Operating system version, app version, error crash logs, and general session duration to diagnose glitches and enhance app reliability.
3. How We Use Your Information

Collected information is used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate your account and maintain active session security across devices.
  • Compute detailed test analytics, accuracy percentage, question breakdown, and speed insights.
  • Save question bookmarks and compile wrong answers in your personalized Error Notebook for revision.
  • Prevent unauthorized automated abuse, spamming, or fraudulent activity on test servers.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to third parties or advertising brokers. Data is processed solely on our private secured cloud servers. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Your study records and account details are retained as long as your account remains active. Users may request complete account and data deletion at any time by contacting our support desk at support@adreprep.in. Upon request, all user records, test attempts, and profile information will be permanently purged within 7 business days.

6. Security Measures

We enforce industry-standard security protocols, including HTTPS (SSL/TLS) encrypted transport, JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for stateless session verification, and parameterized database queries to protect against unauthorized access.

7. Children's Privacy

The application is intended for candidates aged 18 and above who are eligible to sit for competitive examinations in the State of Assam. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be announced on the platform or updated with a new revision date at the top of this document.
